Watercolour – in the style of ‘California Vibe’ by David Lobenburg

Wednesday 31st January saw our members painting in the style of David Lobenburg. Inspired by his works and imagery, our members came out with some truly brilliant, colourful and vibrant pieces.

Our Vice Chairman, Carol, sent a photo of our members pieces to the man himself!

“We are inspired by your work and here are our attempts to paint with California Vibe !

Thank you
Carol “

“Greetings from Sacramento, Carol! What a surprise to open up your email today. I am so glad that my California Vibe style is inspiring members of the Darlington Society of Art! Happy Vibeing in Northern England!!”

How cool is that??

And We’re Live!

We are delighted, yet again, to hold our first Exhibition of 2017, at the Darlington Art Gallery, situated in the Crown Street Library, Darlington.
We have 60 pieces in total, with various mediums on display, we’re confident there will be a piece of work from one of our members for you to enjoy.
The exhibits are shown on the ‘Gallery‘ page.
As the exhibit was being set us we got some snaps!
